Supporting Partners, A Course for Men

Some men are innocently struggling to support their romantic partners in the way that works for both of them. And many of their partners are frustrated and tired at continuously being missed.

THIS IS A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY for men who want to:

I. understand why your partner gets angry or pulls away when it seems like you're just being honest and straight forward.
II. explore where you get stuck when it seems like your partner is just complaining and doesn't want any help.
III. learn everyday communication tools to take home and apply right away to your relationship for more ease and less arguing.

You want to be closer to your partner and have confidence about showing up more for them.
You want more ease and harmony when talking with your partner about everyday life.

I have the strength and conviction to directly address men's conditioning with respect and tenderness, and I have endless compassion for many of the challenges you face. We'll laugh at ourselves a bit, be kind, and get vulnerable in small steps.

We'll use real life examples and mock scenarios to role play, and you won't be put on the spot.

You'll learn how to make the art of Nonviolent Communication your own!

You must make at least three classes: May 10, 24, 31, Jun 7

The Compassionate Adventure

The Compassionate Adventure: a 3-part NVC Course will be a trek through the wild jungle of judgments, emotions, and communication. It's open-heartedness we're seeking!

All three classes will include the core principles of nonviolent communication (

Class 1 June 29: Self-empathy. Learn to shift your attention to your heart space and away from the other's behavior. Then develop a practice to be kind to yourself. No, really.

Class 2 July 6: Honest Self-Expression. In class two, we will uncover why it's so hard not to "tell someone off!" Said another way: learn the distinction between moral judgments and value judgments, and the two types of honesty.

Class 3 July 13: Extending Empathy. The final class will adventure through the hottest deserts. Then we'll climb uphill to see the ocean of love, something only viewable from atop your highest mountain.

Though it's not required, it is strongly recommended to attend ALL 3 CLASSES in the series. Each course will build on the next.

6:00 - 8:30 PM each class. Located at Aurora 109 4th Ave SE, Gainesville, FL
